Museum Nasional: Borobudur

It was a real shame all my pictures of my outing to Borobudur (and so many others) were lost. But at the National Museum there are some statues of Buddha and relics from the main temple itself.




 

Batik and becak

Yogya is famous for its batik designs...but also for its overpriced batik touts and swindlers.

a very kind becak driver who took me around a bit. He's probably over 5o, but still strong and hardworking
