Since 2006, Montreal has been home to a collection of Taiwanese sculturist JuMing. 19 of JuMing's famou 'Tai Chi' series are on display throughout the city. He finds his inspiration in huge sculptures of bronze, using " a sense of sylized Western realism (similar in some respects to Constructivism and Cubism)" while borrowing from "roots of Chinese culture".Other works of JuMing are displayed in Brussels' Place de l'Europe, Berlin's Brandenburger Gate, and Paris' Place Vendome, and in various museums around the world. "One of the world's great art collections", according to the official Montreal guidebook.
